Mesquite offers two different GPS preschool programs located on our campus. Mesquite has Advantage Preschool for children 3-5 years old, and Building Blocks Preschool for children 3 & 4 years old.

We offer Friendship Club, Lego Club, Movers Club, Morning News Crew, Musical Theater, Oceanography, Peer Mediation, Student Council, Yearbook, and National Elementary Honor Society.

On January 14, 2025, GPS will welcome all employees who have worked in the district for 25 years to a celebratory breakfast hosted by Superintendent Dr. Shane McCord. These individuals, spanning diverse roles within the district, exemplify the heart and soul of GPS. These are just some of their incredible stories.
